Fuel Economy - It pertains to how efficient a vehicle uses up its fuel, with ample considerations to mileage per gallon.
Greenhouse Gases - These are gaseous elements that contribute in the process in which an atmosphere warms a planet.
Global Warming - A theory on the Earth's increasing temperature due to a strengthening greenhouse effect caused by man's increased emission of greenhouse gases, primarily Carbon Dioxide.
Hybrid Vehicles - A vehicle that relies on power produced by multiple propulsion systems, commonly consisted of a gasoline engine and an electric motor.
Kyoto Treaty - An international treaty concerning global warming, which serves as an amendment to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) - A type of passenger vehicle that has off-road driving features and the passenger capacity of a minivan, as well as the towing strength of a truck. SUVs are sometimes called Four Wheel Drives (4WD or 4x4s).
